What is the Concierge Service?
Members will have access to our Concierge Service during the term of their Virtual Membership. This enables Members to book golf at preferential rates at
over 100 courses in the UK and abroad. Using the online portal, Members will be able to view these courses and request tee times. There is no limit to how many times a member can use this service.
Who will run each event?
There will be a member of the Golf Team present at each event, to ensure your Member experience is looked after from start to finish.
A member of the Stoke Park Golf Team at each venue will administer scoring.
Will I retain my handicap?
Yes, Members who join the Stoke Park Virtual Membership will be able to keep and maintain their WHS Handicap with us. Members’ CDH numbers will remain the same and will be managed by Stoke Park via Intelligent Golf. Scores from all events will be used to ensure your Handicap Index is kept up-to-date. Scores may still be returned from social play via the MyEG app.
Do I need an established handicap to become a member of the Virtual Club?
No. Handicaps can be granted if playing away courses. Please contact kgorry@stokepark.com for further information.
How do the coaching clinics work?
One-to one coaching sessions
Virtual Club Members will receive an hours one-to-one coaching, at each membership renewal. Pre-booking will be necessary. Please email Chris Murtagh
or Adam Lewis directly.
Can I practice anytime at the club if the academy is open?
As a Virtual Member, you may book to use the Golfzon simulators (pre-booking required by emailing golfacademy@stokepark.com ), for a max. 2-hour period. You will only be able to access the practice facilities at Stoke Park if you either have a one-to-one lesson booked with one of the Stoke Park Professionals, or, if you are attending a pre-booked Coaching Clinic.
What happens if an event I wish to play in is full?
Your name will be added to a reserve list. The courses played will be used in rotation so you may wish to sign up for a particular course at a later date.
If the venue can accommodate, we will look to increase the number of players.
Can I invite guests to play in any competitive event?
The events are held for Virtual Club Members, subject to demand, we will consider adding an Invitational event.
What is the BB&O County Card scheme?
As part of your Virtual Club Membership, your affiliation fee to England Golf is included, which will enable you to apply for the BB&O County Card Scheme, put together to enable Members of Affiliated Clubs to play at other courses, both within BB&O and other English Counties, at reduced green fee rates. Can my friends join the Stoke Park Virtual Club Membership?
Once we have reviewed the current uptake from existing Members, we will consider applications from non-members who show an interest in joining once
Stoke Park re-opens.
